From Vancouver International Airport: Follow signs to City Centre via Granville Street. After about 20 minutes driving, you will cross the Granville Street Bridge. Keep to the right and continue following signs to Highway 99 north and Whistler. This route will lead you through downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, and over the Lions Gate Bridge. Continue following signs for Highway 99 north and Whistler
From Seattle: Follow signs north to Vancouver on the I5. Take the Truck Crossing. Once through the border, follow 176th Street all the way. DO NOT turn left at the traffic lights pointing you to the Highway 99 and Vancouver, as this road will take you through the traffic of downtown Vancouver! After 5+ miles, you will see direction to Highway 1. Go west to Vancouver. Stay west on Highway 1, it will bypass Vancouver with directions to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. Highway 1 eventually turns into Highway 99 going north to Squamish and Whistler.
